    • GLUED
GLUED GLUED evokes a history through which audio-visual material is understood as a constituent form of our culture. Undertaking a media archaeology where the past comes to represent a space of possibilities, such a strategy is rooted in a manipulative questioning of the archive—or more recently, the database. An appropriative and subversive act that seeks to go beyond the two-dimensional pixelated surface of the image, it has for aim to allude to the fissures within contemporary historical discourses. With a scope that lies on the borders of historical criticism and anthropological discourse, GLU

Exeunte Exeunte presents a gallery of short scenes taken from Italian films shot between the fifties and the eighties, minor or forgotten films. The lack of specific information makes the series of events unclear, keeping the spectator in check as with a narration that requires a key, where the events can only be understood by going back in time. After the final scene, in fact, the work goes back in time, re-presenting close-ups of actors that appeared in the clips in the form of stills, accompanied by a number of brief explanatory texts. Only these final sentences reveal the terrible

    • Retrocognition
Retrocognition 'Retrocognition' is simultaneously a filmic archeology and a social critique.   The film re-contextualizes found assets and animated techniques into a decaying narrative that critiques the meme of the “nuclear family” found in sitcoms. By exploiting the lingering residue of found assets and spectator expectations of animations, cartoons, and sitcoms, 'Retrocognition' discovers unconscious intent and cultural bias in its treatment of the nuclear family. The soundtrack for the film was composed first by collaging together bits of performances from early radio dramas.  The sou
